چکیده
Abstract Background : Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated small-vessel vasculitis (AASV) is an autoimmune disease with unclear pathogenesis, which causes damage to multiple organs and systems, renal failure or even death. We aimed explore the expression of serum soluble Klotho protein in patients AASV-induced influence on prognosis. Methods A total 330 AASV treated from June 2012 2014 were divided into non-renal groups. Clinical symptoms laboratory examination results compared. They <935.05 pg/mL ≥935.05 groups, pathological indices Survival curves plotted using Kaplan-Meier method, 5-year survival rates Results Compared group, mean arterial pressure, urine blood creatinine levels significantly rose, while red cell count, hemoglobin, albumin, declined group (P<0.05). The optimal cut-off value assessing was 935.05 pg/mL. increased, proportion normal glomeruli decreased, that fibrous crescents rose rate lower than Conclusions lowly expressed induced by as a potential marker for early diagnosis prognostic evaluation.

Based on studies comparing the prevalence of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) between Japan and Europe, we have learned that the difference may be due to genetic background and environmental factors, but not to diagnosis or ELISA system for myeloperoxidase and proteinase-3 ANCA. In Japan, microscopic polyangiitis is the most common among AAV, but Wegener’s...

OBJECTIVES We aimed to evaluate the prevalence of lung hemorrhage, its determinants and its prognostic significance in adults patients with severe kidney involvement due to ANCA-associated vasculitis diagnosed and treated in a nephrology department. MATERIAL AND METHODS Seventy-five patients consecutively diagnosed by kidney biopsy with crescentic pauci-immune glomerulonephritis entered this ...

OBJECTIVE It was well known that propylthiouracil (PTU) could induce ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) and clinical evident vasculitis could resolve after cessation of PTU with or without immunosuppressive therapy. However, the treatment strategy for patients with PTU-induced AAV remained inconclusive and their long-term outcomes were lacking. The aim of our study was to summarize these data. ...
